The product is fusible so there is a “glue” on one side but it is spread evenly so that the fuse is consistent . Steam it for 15-20 seconds on cotton to fuse .No pre-shrinking of the tricot is necessary)
One of the best qualities of this interfacing is that it’s light weight and keeps your quilt lighter in weight but still does a great job of stabilizing the fabric. One helpful hint is that when applying the interfacing, it has a stretchy direction and a more stable direction…probably your knits will as well. So place the more stable direction over the direction on your fabric is the more stretchy. It works to keep the fabric very stable.
To apply the fusible interfacing, you use the iron and pressing cloth. Fuse the interfacing to the wrong side of the fabric.
For example, order of 1 yard (Qty=1) is 51” x 36”. Order of 3 yards (Qty=3) is 51” x 108”.
